You love horses and have always wanted to ride a genuine Haflinger horse? You can in Lagundo, near Merano! Horse riding has become increasingly more popular in our region in the past few years. Indeed, in Merano, we have a 40-hectare racecourse where the annual Halfinger race takes place. So many different places in Merano and the surrounding area offer riding lessons and group excursions for children and adults alike.
Just some of the stables near our Heinrichshof hotel are the Sulfner and Innergruberhof stables in Avelengo, the Merano Mais riding centre and the Sandhof stables in Val Passiria.
